Moving on from the first installation of Torran Penrice’s film in ‘Our Aunt’ we encounter the assorted works of Anna Sturgeon, where her prints emerge from the ground, staked and buried amongst grass and wildflowers. Her works focus primarily on our sense of reality; our past and present existences falling together among the irresistible nature of her photographs.

She forges these photographs together to tell disjointed stories of alternate realities, past lives and forging moments. In ‘Of Meadows’ we encounter these, too like scattered memories, where they grow like flowers in a meadow to tell stories of something close and something distant.
